The rectangular top with hinged rounded drop leaves supported by brass fly supports, the squared central section reversible, revealing when turned a light and darkwood checkerboard surface sliding back to expose a welled compartment with a light and darkwood-inlaid backgammon board, above an apron fitted with two small corner drawers, one fitted with stepped compartments, centering a demi-lune wooden workbasket with cloth cover set within a conforming rail, on a bulbous lobe-carved pedestal, on scrolled and downswept reeded legs with waterleaf brass castors--29 5/8in. high, 37 3/4in. wide (open), 17 1/4in. deep
