In three parts: the upper section with overhanging flared cornice and knife-edge molding; the central section with Gothic bookcase doors with brass edging, opening to reveal four moveable shelves each beaded edge; the lower section with central hinged writing surface above three short drawers over paneled cupboard doors with brass edging opening to shelved compartments, the doors flanked by columns with carved Ionic capitals, on carved lion's-paw feet with acanthus leaves, the conical rear feet turned, appears to retain original hardware--102in. high, 80 1/8in. wide, 21in. deep
