One modelled as a seated monkey with sponged blue and manganese markings, the other as a dog with puce and black markings reclining on a moulded blue rockery base (both with a hairline crack, restoration to back of rockery base, paint on dog's back flaking)--2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) and 3in. (7.8cm.) high; together with Staffordshire creamware models of a reclining stag and doe with iron-red markings, a similar model of a seated cat with sponged iron-red markings, an earthenware model of a dog with sponged blue and black markings, a miniature model of a reclining poodle by Basil Mathews, and a porcelain model of a walking green-eyed lion (8)
