With flattened spire finial, dome cover, scroll spout and handle, the front and back painted in iron-red with a still-life of fruit, baskets, cornucopia and butterflies above scrolls within a border of diaper panels and vigorous scrolling foliage, the cover with a similar border, the spout and handle enriched with iron-red chevrons, Jacobs Collection no. 394 (cover broken and restuck, two chips to inside rim restored, knop restuck, short hairline crack to pot)--8 7/8in. (22.7cm.) high
