A STAFFORDSHIRE SALTGLAZE QUATREFOIL TEAPOT AND COVER

The dome cover moulded with four shells and enamelled in the famille rose style with half flowerheads and a band of trellis broken by floral panels, with scroll handle and spout decorated with leaves, the pot moulded on both sides with pectin shells and enamelled in bright blue, iron-red, pink and green with Chinamen standing beside flowering shrubs, the sides with iron-red and green 'feather' leaves, Jacobs Collection no. 409 (cover restored, finial a restored replacement, two rim chips)--5in. (12.7cm.) high
