A STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE DRINKING CUP

Conical moulded on both sides with a mask of the Pope in a green, ochre and blue mitre above the mask of a grinning horned devil and brown hair, the sides moulded with acanthus enriched in blue and ochre, Jacobs Collection. no. 651 (finial restuck)--5½in. (14cm.) high
