The present teapot and the following two lots are enamelled with similar verticle bands of fruit on iron-red grounds typical of the David Rhodes Workshop's production.

CIRCA 1770, ENAMELLED AT THE DAVID RHODES WORKSHOP
With pierced finial, purple handle and spout and painted with alternating verticle bands of apples reserved on a purple ground and trailing vines, Jacobs Collection no. 446 (restoration to cover, slight cracks to body)--5¼in. (13.3cm.) high
