In the Japanese taste; of circular form with spot-hammered surface, on spreading base, the sides applied with copper grape vines suspending copper grapes and gilt leaves, also applied with a copper butterfly, swallows in flight, and shore birds by a marsh, the rim slightly convex, marked, 1847--6 5/8in. diameter
