The square screen of carved ebonized wood mounted on splayed foliate feet, surmounted by a lifting handle carved as a wreath, the side columns flanking a glass enclosed embroidered panel of the Imperial State Arms of Russia above cyrillic Alexander III in gold beads upon foliate background, the reverse lined with replaced silk panel, the screen applied with cyrillic presentation plaque: From the Pupils of the School of the Order of Saint Catherine - 40½in.
