Of tapering cylindrical form with loop handle and engraved ribs to the body, the tankard engraved to simulate woodgrain, the front further enriched with vacant cartouche surrounded by scrolling geometric designs, the hinged cover decorated en suite with dentilated rim, the interior gilt, marked under base and cover - 5½in. (14cm.) high 13oz. 10dwt. (424g.)
