MAKER'S MARK OF ROBERT HARPER, LONDON, 1867
Comprising hot water kettle, stand and lamp, coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and cream jug; each of baluster form, on four scroll feet issuing from acanthus, elaborately repousse and chased with scenes depicting a milkmaid (the cream jug), Africa (the coffee pot), a sugar plantation (the sugar bowl), tea pickers (the tea pot), an Oriental fruit seller (the kettle), the scroll spouts issuing from masks, the hinged domed covers similarly chased and surmounted by figural finials, fully marked--height of kettle on stand 16½in.(42cm.);together with a plated oblong two-handled tea tray with grapevine border
