A VICTORIAN SILVER SOUP TUREEN AND COVER
MAKER'S MARK OF PAUL STORR, LONDON, 1837

Of shaped oval form, raised on four acanthus scroll feet, the lobed body applied at each end with foliate leaves enclosing scrolling rocaille side handles, the acanthus scroll rim with rocaille at intervals, the lobed domed cover surmounted by a foliate bud finial, marked on body, cover and finial, the base stamped STORR AND MORTIMER--length over handles--15 1/4in.(38.6cm.)
