Of fluted form on spreading openwork foliate scroll vine, chased with shells and applied with grapevine, with two vine-form bifurcating handles leading to twisting grapevines, the rim applied with flowers and leaves, with plain removable liner, one side engraved with armorials, the other side qwith a presentation inscription, marked under base and on liner--10½in.(26.6cm.) high
