Of rectangular form within curved fluted corners, bright-cut engraved with paterae and bellflowers as borders, with fluted straight spout and C-scroll handle, the slightly domed hinged cover surmounted by a wood baluster finial, the stand of similar form with canted corners, on four paw feet, with similar bright-cut engraving, each engraved with a crest and motto, the teapot also engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked under bases--6 1/8in.(15.5cm.) high
