Of baluster form on square pedestal base with four paw supports, with a pierced gallery below a gadrooned border, the body chased with Chinese figures amid rocaille scrolls and foliage, with leaf-clad scroll spout and wood scroll handle, the hinged domed cover with gadrooned rim and surmounted by a leaf and flower finial, engraved on side with a lozenge-of-arms within a foliate scroll asymetrical cartouche, marked under base and on cover--11½in.(29.2cm.) high
