The later white and yellow marble top above a foliate frieze, centering a scallop shell and leaf clasp on cabriole legs and scrolled toes carved with foliage- 30in.(76cm.) high, 28in.(71cm.) wide, 19½in.(50cm.) deep

Sir William Plender of Ovenden, Kent was created Baron in 1931. Examples from his collection were illustrated in R. W. Symonds' Masterpieces of English Furniture and Clocks (1940).
