THREE PIE TRAYNOR SCRAPBOOKS
Three scrapbooks kept by Pie Traynor during and after his career. One consists of letters of congratulations during "Pie Traynor Week", another large leather covered scrapbook contains articles, pictures, letters, telegrams, and ephemera from the years of Traynor's playing career, including a handwritten note from John Tenner on the occasion of a Testimonial for Traynor in 1928; the third has 1927, Pirates win pennant on the cover and contains hundreds of articles, pictures, and clippings about the Pittsburgh 1927 season.
