CUBAN BASEBALL "BROADSIDE" CARDS
A group of sixty-one "broadside" cards of baseball players of the four teams in Cuba: Habana, Mariano, Almendares, and Cienfuegos. Each has the team logo on top and a picture of Antonio Alcalde on the bottom (as a political promotion). The cards are printed on coated stockand have blank backs. Pictures include Cuban and American players in the Cuban League. The cards, produced in the 1940's, include Adolfo Luque (coach), Al Gionfrido, Fermin Guerra, Alejandro Crespo, and Julio Moreno. In overall excellent condition -- 8 x 11 inches. (61)
