A SIX PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TWO HANDLED TRAY, maker's mark of Gorham, 1919-1921, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each urn form on spreading circular foot with applied berried laurel rim, above with paterae and vacant reserves, the body with reed enclosed trailing foliate and bellflower straps, centering beaded oval cartouche, one monogrammed, within chased and engraved foliate scroll and floral surround, with part foliate angular handle, the pots with part floral decorated scroll spout, the hinged partly high domed cover flat chased with conforming motifs and surmounted by reeded covered urn finial--tea kettle on stand over swing handle 14in. (35.5cm.) high, the oval tray with conforming monogram and surround, the border flat chased and engraved with conforming decoration, applied berried laurel rim, with two part foliate handles--length of tray over handles 29¼in.
