A LARGE SILVER EPERGNE, maker's mark of Tiffany & Co., Union Square, 1870-1875, with replaced glass bowls, the flat topped circular base with broad die rolled paterae band, raised on four female mask headed feet, the center with baluster standard applied with die rolled bands and issuing central circular frame, the mid stem with scroll stretchers with stylized flowerhead join, joining three talon footed, openwork scroll supports headed by fully modelled maiden's head, the upper knop issuing three scroll branches with applied matted leaves, and terminating in circular frame with tapering rod support--17¼in.
