AN EDWARDIAN FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, 1906, maker's mark W.M. & S., comprising teapot, long necked coffee pot, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each inverted pear shaped on gadrooned circular base with tongue and dart rim, the lower body chased with alternate plain and foliate scroll flutes, above chased and engraved with lush foliage and floral clusters on matted ground, centering two sides vacant shaped oval cartouche, with pierced everted collar, the pots with wood scroll handle, and leaf capped, and mostly decorated spout, the hinged decorated raised cover topped by wood baluster finial--the coffee pot 9in. (22.8cm.) high, gross weight 68oz. (4)
