A VICTORIAN SILVER MOUNTED CLARET JUG, London, 1873, maker's mark of Charles Boyton, the cylindrical glass body with compressed base, the long neck mount chased two sides with varying satyr's mask within fruited grapevine, flat chased grapecluster squat spout, rusticated loop handle, the hinged partly raised decorated cover topped by a lion rampant holding a shield engraved with crest and motto--10½in. (26.6cm.) high
