VICTORIAN BLACK ONYX, SEED PEARL AND ENAMEL PENDANT BROOCH
Of oval outline, centering upon an oval black onyx plaque enhanced by a half pearl and yellow gold star within a black, white enamel, textured yellow gold foliate frame, the reverse revealing a locket of seed pearl and hair plumes bearing the inscription, From G. Alexander to E. Deans, Jan. 1, 1880 and From E. Deans to J.A. Wyllie, Sept. 1894, attached to a textured low-carat yellow gold circular link chain(pearls not tested for cultured vs. natural, solder evident on reverse)--23½ in.
