(29.2cm.) long, the second shaped oval, raised monogrammed center, sides pierced with panels of quatrefoils, trelliswork or scalework, divided by florally chased surround, wavy rim--Gorham--11in. (27.9cm.) long, the remainder circular, or shaped circular, the third deep, the border chased with bold flowers at intervals, wavy rim--Alvin--8¾in. (22.2cm.) wide, the fourth deep, monogrammed, the sides chased with large Vitruvian scrolls, with applied lush foliate scroll wavy rim--Whiting--10in. (25.4cm.) diam., the fifth with solid monogrammed center to the curvilinear openwork sides--8in. (20.3cm.) diam., the sixth deep, monogrammed, pierced border--10in.
