A THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, maker's mark of Louis Fourniquet, New York, circa 1815, comprising teapot, large two handled covered sugar basin, and covered milk jug, each partly fluted oval, engraved with foliate script monogram, the jug and bowl with reeded angular handle, the hinged cover to the jug topped by ball finial, the teapot with wood loop handle, straight spout, the hinged partly domed cover surmounted by covered urn finial--the teapot 7½in. (19cm.) high, gross weight 44oz.
