AN AUSTRIAN THREE PIECE SILVER COFFEE SERVICE, Vienna, 1857, maker's mark rubbed, comprising a coffee pot, large hot milk jug, and compressed oval hinged covered sugar box, baluster, on four foliate scroll feet, two sides with vacant oval cartouche within chased bold surround of matted flowering foliage, foliate scrolls and rocaille, twice centering vacant oval cartouche, the coffee pot with elaborate foliate scroll spout and partly reeded handle, the hinged, partly domed cover with foliate and rocaille border and applied shell and scroll rim, surmounted by bird finial, the sugar box with key hole, and slightly differing finial--the coffee pot 10in.
