A GEORGE V SEVEN PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Crichton, London, 1925, George I style, comprising bullet shaped tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl, waste bowl, round shouldered spreading cylindrical coffee pot, squat spouted hot water jug and cream jug, each on short molded circular foot, the lower section with chased scalloped panels flat chased with alternate scalework and foliate shell reserves, initialled M, the shoulder with further baroque flat chased and engraved band, the pots with wood loop handle, panelled spout, the hinged slightly raised cover topped by wood finial--tea kettle on stand over swing handle 12½in. (31.7cm.) high, gross weight 165oz. (7)
