A VICTORIAN FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Martin & Hall, Sheffield, 1901, comprising baluster coffee pot, cream jug, pear shaped teapot and two handled sugar bowl, each on four openwork and beaded scroll supports with apron between, the sides twice with scroll enclosed vacant shaped oval cartouche, chased with floral sprays at intervals, the pots with part matted foliate scroll handle, the bird's head scroll spout terminating in grotesque mask, the hinged low domed cover with chased floral band, applied foliate scroll wavy rim, all surmounted by eagle finial--the coffee pot 10¼in. (26cm.) high, gross weight 72oz. (4)
