A GEORGE III SILVER CREAM JUG, SUGAR BASKET AND TWO PAIRS OF SUGAR TONGS, with maker's marks of; London, the helmet form cream jug on square pedestal base, engraved with floral festoons centering oval cartouche, upswept scroll handle--Hester Bateman, 1788--6in. (15.2cm.) high, the vase form sugar basket on spreading circular foot, pierced with lozenges and circles, with swing handle and blue glass liner--apparently Robert Hennell, 1783, marks worn--4¼in. (10.7cm.) high, one pair bright cut--Sumner & Crossley; the other pair monogrammed--P. & W. Bateman, 1811--the silver 8.5oz. (4)
