A FRENCH SILVER COFFEE POT, bearing marks for Paris, 1789, later decorated, swirling fluted pear shaped with broad rocaille borders, raised on three foliate headed scroll supports, the squat partly covered spout decorated with rocaille with beaded bud drop, with baluster wood side handle, the hinged conformingly decorated raised cover with corkscrew thumbpiece and topped by baluster finial--8¾in. (22.2cm.) high, gross weight 16oz.
