AN ITALIAN SILVER CENSER, late 18th century, of circular form on spreading foot chased with ovolo and dart below a calyx of acanthus, the sides chased with a band of trailing leaves and flowerheads with applied cherubs' masks at intervals, the removable cover chased with ovolo below pierced geometric design within twisting flutes, the top chased with a calyx of acanthus above a shoulder chased with a band of tied flowerheads, with four ring hooks--10 1/8in.(25.7cm.) high, 26oz.
