A FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Lincoln & Reed, Boston, circa 1835-1846, comprising two teapots, coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl and cream jug, each tapering molded octagonal, with tucked in base, raised on four foliate scroll feet, engraved with crest above initial within foliate scrolls, the remaining panels engraved with foliate scroll arabesques, floral band above molded band, everted stepped collar, the pots with part engraved leaf capped scroll handle and part engraved panelled spout, the engraved raised cover topped by baluster finial--the coffee pot 11in. (27.9cm.) high, gross weight 128.5oz. (5)
