A SIX PIECE SILVER COMPOSITE TEA SERVICE, maker's mark of S. Kirk & Son, 1880-1890, comprising: vase form tea urn, two handled covered sugar bowl, waste bowl, cream jug, compressed circular tea kettle on stand (lacking lamp), and teapot, patterns varying very slightly, each chased and engraved with continuous flowering foliage, on matted ground, the hinged covers with foliate cluster finial, the pots with elaborately decorated, ram's mask applied angular handles--tea urn 16in. (40.6cm.) high, together with a conforming circular bowl on pedestal base--gross weight 233.5oz., in fitted, two handled, felt line wood case, the fabric stamped SAML KIRK & SON BALTIMORE (6)
