The bulbous sides richly enamelled in vivid famille rose colours with peony, chrysanthemum, lotus, tiger lily and cornflowers growing from rocks on knarled branches, a band of iron-red flame pattern below and of pink-ground lotus vine above, the neck with further blossoming branches before iron-red fences, the everted rim with cartouches of large blooms and flowerheads reserved on a cell diaper ground, the interior painted with six large carp and smaller fishes swimming amidst waterweeds, gilt biscuit lion mask and loose ring handles, carved wood pedestal stand (restoration along waist of base)--23in. (58.4cm.) diam.
