Finely modelled perched on blue rockwork with head cocked, his breast and head iron-red with gilt feather details and his folded wings richly enamelled with overlapping feathers in pink, yellow, iron-red, black, blue, sepia and green enamel (slight flaking to enamels of beak and feathers)--6½in. (16.5cm.) high
