The broken arched pediment surmounted by flaming finials centering a scallop shell, above a pair of arched doors with bevelled mirror plates, enclosing an elaborately fitted interior of pigeonholes, folio divides, and small drawers with Corinthian columns enclosing secret drawers and centering a concaved door with a further fitted interior, above candleslides, the slant lid enclosing a similarly fitted interior above two short and two long drawers on bracket feet, decorated throughout with vignettes of Chinese figures at various pursuits before castles, pavilions and seascapes, and birds (decoration restored)- 96in.(244cm.) high, 41½in.(105cm.) wide, 24in.(61cm.) deep
