A cotton trenchcoat worn by John Lennon, circa 1973 - 1974. The raincoat was a favorite of the singer, and he was widely photographed in it during much of his anti-war efforts in the early 1970's. The green coat is in the "army" style, with wide waist belt and double row buttons. On the inside collar, the sewn in white tag 38R 8405 965 2153. The coat is mounted in a shadowbox with a plaque and black and white photograph featuring John in the coat at a peace rally--62 x 42 1/2 in.--framed.
