A COPPER-RED AND UNDERGLAZE BLUE-DECORATED CELADON-GROUND YENYEN VASE, KANGXI, decorated with Shoulao seated beside a low rock table, with an attendant holding a basket to one side and a deer to the other, the reverse decorated with rocks, lingzhi fungus and various trees, including a towering pine extending up onto the neck where a crane perches in the boughs as it gazes at its mate in flight amidst the trailing clouds, all in copper-red and underglaze blue-decorated white slip carved through to the celadon-glazed ground, artemesia leaf mark on base--17¼ in. high
