A BRASS UNIVERSAL RING DIAL, late 17th century, probably South German, engraved with degree scale in one quadrant and with altitude scale on the reverse, the pivoted inner ring engraved with Roman chapters, III - XI, the support for the sight engraved with calendar and degree scales--3½in.
