A FRENCH SILVER MOUNTED CERAMIC CASSOULET, maker's mark probably that of H. L. Lapeyre, circa 1880, burnt sienna glazed tub form, with white interior, the broad rocaille shaped mount centering asymmetrical cartouche on both sides, one monogrammed, with two florally decorated silver tab handles above ceramic loop handles, the slightly raised cover with conforming rim mount, the silver foliate calyx supporting openwork foliate handle--10in. (25.4cm.) high
