A FIVE PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of S. Kirk & Son Co., apparently 1896-1903, no. 112, comprising teapot, coffee pot, two handled covered urn form sugar bowl, cream jug and circular waste bowl, each molded ovoid, monogrammed, on spreading circular base chased with flowering foliage, the sides chased and engraved with varying village and pastoral scenes with figures, animals and birds, the remainder decorated with flowers, the pots with partly reeded foliate scroll spout, ram's mask applied angular decorated handle, the side hinged flat topped domed, chased cover topped by floral cluster bud finial--the coffee pot 14¼in. (36.5cm.) high, gross weight 127oz. (5)
