A FOUR PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, the following maker's mark of Garret Forbes, circa 1808: teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl and creamer; the waste bowl apparently unmarked, each partly lobed circular on molded circular pedestal base, with die rolled shell rims, the shoulder applied with die rolled band of fruited grapevine, engraved below with monogram, the teapot with angular handle and scroll spout, the hinged, high domed cover topped by acanthus bud finial--the teapot 9¾in.
