The facetted, compressed form set on a raised foot ring, with short neck and everted rim decorated in underglaze copper with four roundels containing Chinese characters meaning 'long life' on the sides and a scrolling floral meander around the shoulder, and finished in a grey/blue tinged crackled clear glaze -- 7 1/2in. (19.1cm.) x 7 1/2in. (19.1cm.), base drilled and restored, short cracks and stains
