Born in Puyo in South Chungchong Province, Lee In-Young won his native province's Cultural Prize in 1963. He exhibited his work at the "National" exhibition in Seoul in 1978. He participated in the "100 Korean Modern Artists" exhibit in Seoul, and had one-person exhibitions in Korea in 1971, 1975, and 1979. During the period 1983-86 Lee In-Young showed his paintings in the "South Chungchong Baik Yeon" exhibition. He teaches at the Han Nam University in Dai Jeon.
