LONDON, 1730, MAKER'S MARK OF PAUL DE LAMERIE (HARE, NO. 3)

Vase-shaped on spreading circular foot, the removable high-domed cover pierced with vertical panels of alternating geometric shapes between fluting and surmounted by a baluster finial, the side engraved circa 1780 with a monogram and Bishop's mitre, marked on base and cover, the base with scratch weight 7=5--5 3/4in. (14.5cm.) high
