LONDON, 1766, MAKER'S MARK OF THOMAS HEMING

Each of oval form, on a spreading shaped oval foot formed of radiating flutes, the sides spirally fluted in two directions, the everted rim also fluted, the upswept scroll handle applied on both sides with acanthus and on the outside with pendant husks, one engraved under the spout with Royal arms, Garter motto and crown flanked by the initials GR, the other engraved with Royal badge, Garter motto and crown, each also engraved with another crest, and motto, marked under rims, one with indistinct marks--7 3/4 in. (19.2 cm.) long
