LONDON, 1765, MAKER'S MARK IK, PROBABLY FOR JOHN KENTESBER (GRIMWADE 3707); BRANCHES LONDON, 1802, MAKER'S MARK OF ROBERT GARRARD II
Each on shaped triangular base with three leaf feet chased with scrolls and rocaille, rising to a spiralling baluster stem cast and chased with scrolls and pendant garlands, with a vase-shaped socket with similar decoration, with three removable scrolling acanthus branches centering a spray of foliage, each candelarm with a wax-pan formed of radiating leaves and a socket clad in spiralling acanthus with removable shaped circular foliate nozzles, the socket engraved with a crest and Earl's coronet, marked under base, and on branches, sockets, wax pans and nozzles--17 1/2 in.
