Lot Essay

The arms are those of Hanmer impaling those of Chetwynd, as borne by Sir John Hanmer, 3rd Bt., who married in 1833 Georgiana, youngest daughter of Sir George Chetwynd. He was created Baron Hanmer in 1872 and died in 1881.
