Of navette-shaped form, raised on four cast acanthus feet, the the flaring sides with beaded rim and two cast ram's-head handles terminating in scrolls, the tray set with four circular bottle stands with beaded rims and fluted pilaster supports, the two cut glass pitchers with silver acanthus necks, hinged shell covers, and reeded swept handles with beaded rims at the foot, the two cut glass bottles with glass stoppers, the sides engraved with presentation inscription "Hoc Pignus Amicitiae dedit David Garrick, Amico suo Gulielmo Read", marked under base and on two larger bottle stands--9 3/4 in. (24.8 cm.) long
