LONDON, 1806, MAKER'S MARK OF WILLIAM FRISBEE

Of oval form, raised on a spreading oval foot with applied beading and a band of acanthus, the body applied with drapery swags and paterae below a dentilated and beaded border, with two lion's-mask and pendant ring handles, the tapering oval cover chased at the dome with acanthus and surmounted by an acorn finial above a band of beading, engraved on side with a coat of arms and motto within scrolled mantling and on cover with a crest, marked on base and cover--length over handles 13 1/4 in. (33.6 cm.)
